Infotronic Software, the developer of Itactil lider 11, announced it was suing Halerad Software over a US lawsuit alleging a similar Itactil lider 11 cracked program which was later released by Malwarebytes. The lawsuit also alleges a history of harassment and the dismissal of Infotronic's U.S. representative. The complaint is named "Infotronic Software Ltd. vs. Halerad Software Ltd. and associated parties". Halerad Software are based in Singapore. (UK) Itactil lider 11 was released in 2018.
Halerad filed a motion to dismiss the complaint on May 22, 2018. The motion to dismiss was denied by the court on July 2, 2018. On July 9, 2018, the dismissal was reversed on the basis that Infotronic Software had not had adequate time to seek discovery in the matter. Infotronic had not given any explanation for the delay, in which Halerad had already filed a motion to dismiss.
On July 13, 2018, Infotronic Software filed an amended complaint, which is the subject of the motion to dismiss filed by Halerad. The motion to dismiss is currently pending before the court.
On July 13, 2018, Halerad filed a motion to certify an interlocutory appeal on the ground that Infotronic Software's amended complaint would not otherwise be considered by the district court as amendment is only permitted by Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 15(a). The motion was granted on August 3, 2018, and a decision will be made on the motion to dismiss after considering the briefs.
